THE STUDIO

INK ON PAPER PRESS is a fine art print studio based in Corsham, Wiltshire, UK, founded by artist Amy-Jane Blackhall in 2015.

The studio specialises in intaglio and relief processes and offers creative solutions from origination to editioning, including print hand finishing. Artists can enjoy working in large scale using the Modbury etching press with a bed size of 90 x 180cm.

Blackhall trained under Master Printer Jack Shirreff at 107 Workshop, where she worked on editions for Howard Hodgkin, Gillian Ayres & Patrick Hughes.

She also has teaching experience and worked as Studio Printmaker for Rabley Drawing Centre; and gallery assistant and exhibiting artist at Rabley Gallery .

INK ON PAPER PRESS is currently the main editioning studio for Emma Stibbon RA editions.

On film

In May 2025, INK ON PAPER PRESS was the studio location for the filming of printmaking footage, featuring artist Ian Chamberlain RWA, for a series of short films on Lucian Freud to accompany a V&A touring exhibition to Titanic Belfast. Producer/director Laura Warner, camera Zoran Velijkovic.
